PR + Social Media: Castle & Key Distillery Opening

Objective

Keep consumers and trade excited and engaged as Castle & Key Distillery remodeled the historic Old Taylor site.

How We Did It

We developed behind-the-scenes teaser content for social media that brought audiences along for the journey as the distillery took shape, building anticipation with ongoing progress updates. We also shared the brand’s rich history across platforms and used PR to elevate a compelling narrative—the story of Kentucky’s first female master distiller. This integrated approach helped keep the distillery top of mind, engaging both media and consumers with a mix of legacy, innovation, and human interest.

The Results

We attracted over 25,000 fans pre-distillery launch to Castle & Key social and helped coordinate documentaries, national lifestyle shows, and interviews with consumer and trade media throughout the two-years remodel. The distillery was fully-booked for tours and private events prior to opening and fans were excited for a unique tour experience.
